We are now accepting new scouts for the 2009-2010 school year. We have Brownie Scouts entering 3rd grade. If you are interested in joining our troop, or just need more information, contact us at girlscouts80677@yahoo.com.
We have lots of big plans for this year!
We will learn about leadership, courage, confidence, and caring.
We will try lots of new things like Tae Kwon Do and glass blowing.
We will take on a new service project and keep needy children warm this winter.
We will also learn about budgeting, goal setting, and money handling.
Our cookie sale in the spring is always fun. We will get to dress up like cookies and watch our success grow as we meet our goals for the upcoming year.
Camping is always a great time. This year if we camp, we will work on our firebuilding skills, knot tying, and outdoor cooking. We will learn lots of new songs to bug our parents with, and hopefully gain some new confidence to take home with us. Merrie Woode will have new paddleboats next summer and we can't wait to try them out!
Bottom line: the girls call the shots. The girls will decide what events we attend, how much we should spend, and who is in charge.
It's gonna be a great year!
